The right mobile plan has strong signal where you actually live, work and travel, on terms that fit how your household uses data. We help you explore postpaid plans and device promotions from participating carriers, including AT&T and Verizon programs, review coverage for the places you name, and coordinate the order so your lines, numbers and devices move over cleanly.

Providers we compare
We compare mobile and wireless options across these providers. Which ones serve you depends on your address.

Why compare with us
- 01
Coverage-led
Carrier coverage reviewed for where you actually use your phone.
- 02
Lines and devices together
Family lines, tablets, watches and hotspots in one conversation.
- 03
Keep your numbers
We coordinate number transfers with your new carrier.
Mobile plans are easy to compare on price and hard to compare on what matters: whether calls hold up inside your home, how fast data is on a busy evening, and what happens after a promotion or a device payment ends. Coverage maps help, but they are estimates, and signal can change from one room or one street to the next.
We start with the places you use your phone most and review the carriers' coverage information and public data such as the FCC National Broadband Map for them. Then we lay out each postpaid option plainly: the data each line gets, how hotspot and streaming are handled, device and financing terms, and what the plan costs after any promotion. You choose with the details in front of you. We place the order through the carrier's program, and the carrier handles activation, service and account support.

How it works
Your phone talks to the nearest cell site over radio, and that site connects to the carrier's wired network. How well that works for you depends on which frequencies the carrier uses near you, how many people share the same site, and what is between you and the tower.
- 01
Coverage and capacity are different things
Coverage is whether you get a signal. Capacity is how much data the site can deliver to everyone using it at once. A phone can show full bars and still feel slow in a stadium or at rush hour, because many people are sharing the same cell. That is why we ask where you use your phone, not just where you live.
- 02
Low, mid and high band
Carriers use several radio bands. Lower frequencies reach farther and get through walls better, which makes them good for wide and indoor coverage. Mid-band carries more data while still covering a useful distance. High band, often called millimeter wave, offers high capacity over short distances and is easily blocked. What you get depends on which bands a carrier has deployed near you.
- 03
Postpaid lines, devices and financing
A postpaid plan is billed monthly by the carrier, and a single account can hold several lines: phones, tablets, watches and hotspots. New phones are usually bought outright or paid off monthly through the carrier, often with promotions delivered as bill credits over time. Devices ship from, or are picked up through, the carrier's own ordering program.
- 04
SIM cards and eSIM
A SIM tells the network which line and carrier your phone belongs to. Many newer phones also support eSIM, a built-in chip that downloads the carrier's profile, so you can activate a line without a physical card. Some phones can hold more than one line, which helps with a work number or travel.
- 05
Wi-Fi calling, hotspots and mobile broadband
Wi-Fi calling routes calls and texts over your home internet when mobile signal indoors is weak, where your carrier and phone support it. A hotspot shares your phone's data with a laptop or tablet, usually from a separate hotspot allowance. Mobile broadband plans put a tablet, watch or dedicated hotspot on the network with its own line.
Compare
How the common postpaid setups usually compare. The carrier, the network in your area and the plan's terms decide the specifics.

- One phone line billed monthly by the carrier

Mobile broadband

General characteristics, not guarantees. Availability, coverage, speeds, promotions and terms vary by location, carrier and plan, and require carrier approval.

Questions about this service
Can I keep my phone number when I switch carriers?
In most cases, yes. Federal rules require wireless carriers to support number portability, so you can usually take your number with you when you switch within the same area. Keep your old service active until the transfer finishes, and we coordinate the transfer with your new carrier.
How do I know a carrier has good coverage where I live?
Start with the places you use your phone most: home, work and the routes you travel. We review the carriers' coverage information and public data such as the FCC National Broadband Map for those places before you choose. These are estimates of reported coverage, not a measurement of indoor signal, and actual service varies by location and network.
Can I bring my own phone to a new carrier?
Often, if the phone is unlocked and works on the new carrier's network bands. Carriers set their own unlocking rules, which commonly depend on the phone being paid off. We check compatibility with the carrier before you switch.
What is eSIM, and do I need it?
eSIM is a SIM built into the phone that downloads the carrier's profile, so a line can be activated without a physical card. You do not need it to switch, but it can make activation faster and lets some phones hold two lines. Whether it is available depends on your phone and the carrier.
Is 5G always faster than 4G LTE?
Not always. 5G speed depends on which radio band your carrier uses near you, how strong the signal is and how many people share the site. Some 5G bands mainly extend coverage, while others add capacity over shorter distances.
Does Simexa offer prepaid plans?
No. We focus on postpaid plans from participating carriers, where we can help you compare lines, devices and promotions on one account. If prepaid suits you better, the carriers and their stores sell those plans directly.
What does unlimited data really mean?
It usually means you are not cut off, but some data may be slowed after a set amount or at busy times, and hotspot and video quality often have their own limits. The plan's broadband label and terms spell this out. We point out those limits for each option.
Which carriers can Simexa help with?
For households, we help with postpaid plans from participating AT&T and Verizon programs. Which plans, devices and promotions you can get depends on your address, the carrier's approval and the program. Tell us what you need and we show you what is available.
Does it cost anything to compare through Simexa?
No. Simexa adds no fee or markup of its own: you see the plans and promotions available through the carrier's sales channel, and carriers compensate us when you sign up. Carrier taxes, device costs and other carrier fees still apply.
Who do I contact after my lines are active?
The carrier you choose handles activation, service, billing and account support. If you later want to add a line or device, or compare options again, you can contact us in English or Spanish.
